"As a physician, we often carry patients stories with us through life, frequently reflecting upon and learning from them."
– Ian Duncan M.D.

I am a doctor who talks to his patients, lays out their options and has them actively involved in the decision-making process. Giving people enough time so they feel they are being cared for and not being rushed out of the office is what is in the patients’ and my best interests. Ultimately, the more I know about a person the better I can do my job. Getting people back to the things that they love is the most important thing that I do.

DR. DUNCAN’S STORY
Dr. Ian Duncan was born in Santa Rosa, CA. He graduated with a bachelor of science with high honors from the University of California, Davis. He attended medical school at the Chicago Medical School and graduated with his MD with high honors in 2002. His surgical internship and orthopedic residency were performed at the well-respected Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia until 2011. Dr. Duncan excelled in residency, helped care for the Temple University athletes, and received world class training in joint replacement, hand, foot and ankle, trauma, and pediatric surgery. In 2012, he completed his sports medicine fellowship training at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital "(7th ranked orthopedic department in the country, US News & World Report, 2012). While in his fellowship, Dr. Duncan, was actively involved in caring for the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Soul (AFL), Passion (LFL), and St. Joseph’s University.

Dr. Duncan and his wife, Nicole, have three children: Sierra, Nathan, and Kaden. They enjoy watching movies, traveling, skiing, hiking, camping, and spending time with their family. He loves participating in and coaching his kids in baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, football, golf, tennis, and all outdoor activities. Dr. Duncan enjoys being involved in the community, has been a member of a service organization since high school, and has chosen to continue volunteering for sports teams by working with the College of the Sequoias and Central Valley Christian High School.
